LASER tightening

LASER Straffung

Both women and men are affected by fat deposits that do not want to go away with exercise. For this reason, liposuction (liposuction) is among the three most common treatments in aesthetic surgery.

Compared to the original liposuction, LASER tightening (fat melting) is a much gentler treatment method to get rid of the fat deposits.

The affected fat cells appear to be pumped up due to the accumulation of lymphatic fluid associated with the disease. In advanced lipedema, e.g. in stage 3, grotesque body shapes with overhanging skin-fat flaps can arise, which are then also associated with considerable pain in addition to the restricted movement.

What is LASER tightening?

With this method, the fat cells are specifically destroyed with controlled and precise laser energy and liquefied by the heat (fat melt). The liquefied fat – depending on the size of the area to be treated – is broken down by the metabolism or sucked off manually. Due to the skin-tightening effect, areas with cellulite can also be treated well. Due to the thermal effect of the laser, the skin gradually lies smoothly against its newly modeled foundation.

This condition cannot be achieved with traditional liposuction. Because the fat cells of an adult do not reproduce in the treated areas, the result is permanent – both in terms of the reduction of adipose tissue and the optimization of the body shape. LASER tightening with the LEONARDO® High Power Diode Laser can be carried out on an outpatient basis. A local anesthetic is injected into the surgical area in advance.

For the procedure itself, only the smallest skin stitches are required to bring the optical fiber into the tissue to be treated. After the treatment, the laser entry points are not sewn, but only covered with a narrow strip of plaster.

Which areas can be treated with LASER tightening?

The following areas can be treated with LASER tightening:

  • Belly (belly fat)
  • Lower eyelid (tear bags)
  • Back (flanks)
  • Cheeks
  • Hip (love handles)
  • Chin (double chin)
  • Bottom (cellulite)
  • Neck (turkey neck)
  • Thighs (inside and outside, jodhpurs)
  • Upper arm (wave arm, batwings)
  • Lipoedema (fat distribution disorder)
  • Breast (breast lift)
  • Knee (knee fat)

What are the advantages of LASER tightening?

  • Minor postoperative measures
  • Minor skin incisions
  • Virtually no scars
  • Skin tightening effect
  • Reduced risk of bumps
  • Possibility to tighten previously difficult to treat areas (face, forearms, upper abdomen, knees)
  • Minimal operational side effects
  • Short rehabilitation time
  • Optimal protection of the surrounding tissue

Since no general anesthetic is required, the procedure is even safer. Pain, bruising and swelling are significantly less than with conventional liposuction. They usually go away within the first week.

What are the costs of a LASER tightening treatment?

The costs for a LASER tightening treatment depend on the individual scope of services. Please see our price list for average prices.
