The 18th BEAULI™ Symposium took place again after a two-year break.

After a two-year break, our BEAULI™ Congress finally took place again! Doctors from all over the world traveled to Berlin/Birkenwerder: It was a great exchange of experiences in the field of fat transplantation. There was a lot of discussion, advice and exchange.

We are already looking forward to the next BEAULI™ Congress in 2023. Here are a few impressions from the 1st day of the congress:

What methods of breast reconstruction are there?

There are two methods of breast reconstruction: implants and autologous tissue. Implants offer immediately visible results, but carry risks such as capsular fibrosis and ruptures. Autologous tissue can be used through flaps or autologous fat (lipofilling). The latter is done gradually and avoids foreign body complications.
